In Korea, we say 'Baek-ui minjok' (백의민족): the people dressed in white. For centuries, Koreans have worn white as a symbol of purity, peace, and elegance. On May 22nd, we pay tribute to that tradition in our own way — an all-white evening, from the dress code down to the makgeolli.
